Hot Blooded Woman is a slow burn, guitar-driven rock song that oozes attitude from the first riff, an unapologetic anthem to women’s empowerment and pleasure.

The track was mixed and produced by Steve James (The Screaming Jets, Cold Chisel, Sex Pistols, The Rutles, Monty Python), with additional production by Michael Flanders, Jason Millhouse, 8Ball Aitken and Lecia Louise.

Holding it down in the engine room are bassist Malcolm Foster (The Pretenders, Chrissie Hynde, Simple Minds) and drummer Dennis Holt (Emmylou Harris, Taylor Swift, Hank Williams Jr.), laying down a groove that drives the song from start to finish. All guitars played by Lecia Louise, this one will get your hips moving.

Powerhouse guitarist, songwriter and performer Lecia Louise is the 2026 South East Queensland Memphis Blues Challenge winner (representing SEQ in Memphis in January 2027) and 2025 Gold Coast People’s Choice Award recipient.
